Waves this morning at the Washout (845AM EDT), WAIST-STOMACH with CHEST high sets and SEMI-CHOPPY conditions. Tide is outgoing. A broad area of high pressure continues to remain across the southeastern US. NE wind persist this morning with somewhat weaker conditions, allowing for SEMI-CHOPPY NE swell with relatively organized conditions. Waves are expected to slowly drop off with the afternoon low tide, but waves should remain in the WAIST range. The NE windwell will continue to drop off as NE winds weaken over the next few days. The surface high pressure will be slowly breaking down over the next 96 hours, moving southeastwards. A weak frontal boundary will be moving eastwards later in the week.
