Tropical Cyclone Model Guidance

Use of these products constitutes consent to this site's Disclaimer Statement.

The purpose of this page is to provide the operational tropical cyclone track and intensity guidance in an easy-to-read format. These images are used locally for daily tropical weather briefings at Colorado State University (CSU) and the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA). Other users may find them useful as well, so these plots are provided out of courtesy to the wider community.

A protected portion of this site provides plots of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) guidance. Only users at CSU-ATS and CIRA have access to plots on the protected guidance page.

These plots should be considered an 'experts' resource - they should not be used for decision-making by nonqualified individuals.  Media and web site operators, please follow the Guidelines for Media Usage and Redistribution. Product timeliness, data sources, and acknowledgements can be found on: More About this Site. Finally, current status information and notes to users have been placed on a separate page: Current Notes.
